"Dreams and Drones" brings together ambient and atmospheric soundscapes inspired by the universe of French poet Gérard de Nerval (1808-1855), imbued with romanticism and mystery, exploring the landscapes of the unconscious in the mirror of ancient legends from the banks of the Rhine or elsewhere.

Between minimalism and sound immersion, these compositions are invitations to dream and travel through misty, solitary landscapes, populated by fairies and elves who still live on the other side of the mirrors of reality...

On the 8 short pieces Christian lets the moods run free - they reflect the title of the album and that in quite versatile ways. The tension only subsides after the last sounds, from beginning to end this arc of tension remains. I feel this is a really great achievement to reflect these different moods in the brevity of the individual pieces.
For me the -Dreams And Drones- is one of the most versatile albums of Christian Wittman - out of the calmness and free without constraints.....
